Normally I would write a wonderful and entertaining story about the last couple of days.

But of course I had to get kicked out of the hostel first, so now I do not have the luxury of time anymore to write something interesting. Do not worry though, it is just fully booked for the weekend, in the bigger hostels you need to set yourself up in advance, they get so many internetbookings nowadays.

I have to thank all my friends who were there the weekend before I left, at Trouw, to party like there was no tomorrow. Lauren, you got me the best gift possible!
Before I got on the boat to Argentina, I had to go through Uruguay customs. That was fun, because I never got my entrance stamp due to a reckless local busdriver at the Brasil-Uruguay border.
So this guy looks at me, looking for the form you should have with your passport, and the stamp, and I tried to look friendly and stupid to him, to see what would happen.
You could predict what would happen, I just had to pay a fine.
But it was 5 in the morning, I used up all my Uruguayan currency, and there was no ATM.
That is where my belt kicked in, I got one from my friends, filled with lovely notes and I also discovered some money earlier. But never took it out!

And there was a Cambio at the terminal, so I could change my precious gift into my getoutofUruguay ticket! Lauren, and everyone else, thanks so much. I am still holding out on the notes, I am not even halfway my trip yet..

Time to get into town fully packed, and see what hostel I end up in this time!

Besos
