Tuesday I had the idea that I was ready to go South, in direction of Montevideo, but my hostelhost, Veronica, thought differently, and offered an Asado night for wednesday. The grill experience in these countries is amazing, so there was no way to pass up on this offer, of course!

She made an amazing meal of all kinds of grilled meat, great beef, great sausages, even some cheese, and a lot of vegetables. How lucky we were.
All the while, those last days the Diablo has been roaring his tail around, The weather changed completely after the weekend. Argentinians moved back home because official vacations are over, and the weather went from blue skies and sun to very windy, lots of clouds, and just some rays of light here and there.

The good thing about this was that the waves went from cool and organised, to high, never knew where they were coming from, unpredictable, and smashing you around all the time! I had a great time in the water, and when I was finally ready to leave on thursday, we got some more special treatment. Just when it was time for the last swim here, it started raining, walking to the beach brought more rain, and when I got in the water, hail came from the skies! And Iīm not talking a little hail here, the drops were small, but they came by the masses and rapidly down! Had to hide underwater, in the great waves! Even the sun came out sometimes for a second, I kept looking for a rainbow but didnīt find one this time.

Time to get on the bus to La Padrera, luckily the rain stopped so I didnīt have to walk around the mud with my pack. Only 2 hours brought me to this very nice little town, where I found a hostel that got recommended by a lot of people, itīs completely wooden, and a lot of trees all around, really quiet.
A small walk from the beach though, no more sound of waves in my ear at night.. Here we have a lot of insectnoises though, so itīs still nature having a good time. Even though I got here just before it was really dark out, I had to see the beach, it started raining but I kept on going, and it turned out that was a really good choice.

The beach is huge here, they have one to the north and to the south, the first one being the best for just a swim, the second for the surfers.
In the rain already, lot of clouds above the sea, the sound of more crazy waves, thunderstorms came up. No sound though, only electric light effects in the air. Sometimes almost the whole sky got lit up for a second, a jogger here and there but mostly I was the only soul walking around, enjoying nature at itīs best. Rain stopped, more lightning came, I stood watching in silence for a long time.

Luckily yesterday it was clear blue skies in the morning, and throughout the day we had lovely beachweather.
The evening brought an unexpected, but great, twist!
Another nice hostelhost, Jimena, came with us, Porteņos and me, for dinner. We only left after 10pm and didnīt finish till about 1 at night.
Since it was friday I started screaming for a party, what I didnīt know is that this holidaytown had a little surprise coming for us!
Jimena took us to one of the biggest houses of the whole town, right next to the sea, where there was a birthdayparty going on.

I know a party, but this, was something else.
Just getting to the place was a treat already, walking down a private road for a while, grass on the side almost enough to hold a footballmatch, 1 securityguard at the door who we could easily fool into being friends of birthdaygirl (thank me for keeping my mouth shut).
Coming in the first door on the left was open and showed a garden with a well-lit pool, next to it some rooms for sleeping probably.
Continuing the hallway we found a big openair area, with at least 8 rooms all aroun it, in the middle 6 palmtrees, some water, a lot of plants, it was like a completely forest in the center of the house!
The main room of the house then, was huge, and had a white couch where at least 12 people could relax spaciously, some art at the walls, and a big dinnertable.

Surrounding this room was a lot of glass, so in the daytime the seaview must be really good, now we just saw the terrace.
Did I say terrace?
I meant to say biggest terrace ever.
2 djīs, vinyl and laptops, a crazy soundsystem with a couple of subwoofers, some lighteffects even into the sky, 2 enormous screens with lcd projects, some plasma tvīs hanging next to the house. Dancing people everywhere, outside couches to lounge, the cocktailbar without charge and no line! What was going on here, this looked like heaven!

Unbelievable how I just got into one of the craziest mansions ever, with an openair Techno party going on. Must have went on till the daylight, I just took a couple of Daikiriīs with fresh peach and melon, and a Cuba Libre to stay awake, such a long day at the beach, dinner, dancing!

Speaking about dinner, itīs about time to get some, I know my Amsterdam beloved are going wild at 5 days off Right Now, and I was happily surprised to get my own little part of it yesterdaynight, I have been thinking about you partypeople, miss you!!
