A few days ago we were in Paradise.
It's called Ilha Grande and might be the most beautiful island I ever visited.
We left Rio at the end of last week, Carnval was over and it was about time to relax.
White sandy beaches, crystalblue waters, perfect waves, it was all right there.
We hiked for hours to get to the most beautiful places, heard some small monkeys, saw a couple other strange ones, hungry eating birds on the beach, felt like a movie sometimes.
Google search for 'flickr fewips' you will get my Flickr page where I uploaded some pictures I made with my phone the days we were there. Still no decent computer access so I have to keep this short too.
We had a huge transition monday, coming by boat, bus, bus, from the island to the biggest city on the continent: Sao Paulo. Cars everywhere, huge buildings allover the place, a lot of people bustling around, really lively place.
Stayed at some friends of Lucas in a great apartment, had some very long walks, a lot of fruitshakes, and checked out archictecture.
Now it's time for adventure on my own again, my last minute call is to go and see Uruguay, so I'm heading south now for Porto Alegre, and hope to find a bus there to the border tomorrow.
Brasil has been a blast until now, unfortunately the economy here is doing fantastic, and my budget is doing not, so I have to leave!
