No more sun in Posadas, time for a new country?

Tormentas,
also known as Thunderstorms.
Planning to write a little piece on my time in Argentina, I had to remind you all of the wonderful weather I have had here, right up until this morning. Crazy wind, sandstorms, raindrops so big they let the pool overflow! Yes, Posadas was under a bad spell for a day. No more 35 degrees and sun alldaylong. On the positive side this has been the first day when it was possible to wear clothes and it felt somewhat useful to be wearing them. Finally time to get some laundry done, catch up on some 24 action.

Wednesday I am leaving for Rio de Janeiro, Brasil! I am meeting up with Lucas, my big Parisien friend. Not before I finish my 28 hour busride though, which is gonna be interesting, also probably the longest busjourney for me until now. Asia got me used to this kind of trainrides, but a bus is something else entirely. Luckily Argentinian buses have been good, hope the other side of the border treats me well too.
Lucas has been around Rio for a little while know, so I believe he knows the system a little bit. After he finishes work we will start by going to the beach immediately, which sounds like a great plan because this pool is getting small now. And Rio is not going to be a lot cooler, so we need to dive in there to relax!

My peaceful week full of Empanadas, Pizza, Steak, and Parties is over, time to get ready for Carnaval de Rio!

See you in Brasil,

besos,

F

ps, Rio (11th of february) also marks the 1 month away-barrier. Ohlala. Lets not get too emotional okay, but yeah, I do miss you all......Big time. chao
